Entertainment Alternatives in Irvine, California

There are many different attractions within Irvine and the surrounding area, and you will find many sources of entertainment no matter what your interests are. The Irvine Spectrum Center is an outdoor mall with many different shops, restaurants, and a 21-screen movie theater. The largest amphitheater in Orange County, the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, is located in Irvine. You can also visit the University of California-Irvine Arboretum.

The Heritage Park in Irvine contains many different amenities, such as pools, basketball courts, and an amphitheater. The William R. Mason Regional Park contains 345 acres of open spaces, grassy knolls, a 9-acre lake, and other natural areas, and is one of the largest parks in Irvine. Also, the Orange County Great Park is in development in what was previously the El Toro Marine Corps Air Station, and will be a mix of wilderness parks, developed parks, schools, residential and business areas, farms, and museums.

There are even more great attractions close to Irvine, including Disneyland in nearby Anaheim.
